Well done to Brian Reid on winning the inaugural Scottish Masters title for 2010. Brian held off Stewart Logan in the last few laps in a closely fought 800m final to lift the title in yet another come back, Alison Gilkes was a worthy third place medal winner and well done to Paul McKeen on a new PB in the 500m.

Great to see such an age diversity of age of masters competing, some for the first time in many years and we hope to see many more “experienced” skaters entering next year’s competition as this is definitely a competition we wish to encourage.
