The Walker Sprint competition was held at Auchenharvie ice rink in Stevenston on Sunday 6th November 2011. Â The protocol is now available on the Results page. Â Here are a couple of photos from the event.
It was decided at the recent NISA Technical Committee meeting that the PeeWee E classification would, as a trial at the 2011-2012 British Championships, have its own competition separate from the PeeWee D as in the past.
As it is a trial there will be no trophy or medals and would not be a British Championship.
PeeWee E skaters will have the option of skating in the PeeWee D British Championship instead if they wish.
If the trial is successful an approach will be made to the NISA Board to give the age group Championship status in future years.

Would all eligible skaters wishing to skate in the Bormio Star Class Competition please note that I have to submit entries  via shorttrack online by 1st October latest.   A permit to skate abroad will also need to be applied for and issued by NISA.

Club SecretaryAs the club training session has been cancelled on Sunday 24th July due to a hockey camp we will be holding our annual cycle trip around Cumbrae on that date. Once again, it will be open to all club members and family/friends. More details to follow nearer the time.
